The Sunstar Americas and RDH magazine have announced the four outstanding dental hygienists who are chosen to be the recipient of this year's Sunstar/RDH Award of Distinction. The awardees will receive their awards in Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Md on August 2 during the 2018 RDH Under One Roof conference.

The Sunstar Americas and RDH magazine have already announced the four outstanding dental hygienists who are chosen to be the recipient of this year's Sunstar/RDH Award of Distinction for their amazing service to dental patients and their contribution to dentistry.

The four lucky awardees are:

Rhoda Kublickis, RDH, MHS, FAADH, FEMORS

Rhoda Kublickis is a registered dental hygienist and a professional educator at from Xlear Inc. She is recognized for being an active volunteer for different dental charity events in Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida. She has been working as a dental forensic expert since 2008.

Susan Cotten, RDH, BSDH, OMT, Integrative RDH

Susan Cotten is from Westminster, Colorado. She is working as the regional coordinator of the Oral Cancer Foundation. She is also running her own oral cancer consulting business which helps dental professionals in developing oral cancer screening protocols. Cotten is also an integrative dental hygienist at the Colorado Coalition.
Lesley Tuomi, RDH, BSDH, REF

Lesley Tuomi from Richfield, Minnesota is highly recognized for her unwavering commitment to providing dental health care services to the underprivileged students in North Minneapolis.

Jasmin Haley, RDH, MSDH, CDA,

Jasmin Haley from Randallstown, Maryland, is a proud and active member of the "Preparing the Future" program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Haley is a multi-talented dental hygienist, a business manager, a podcaster, an educator, and a program presenter.

The four lucky awardees are singled out by the panel of judges that was organized by RDH magazine and Sunstar Americas. The awarding ceremony will be held in Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Md on August 2. It will be hosted during the 2018 RDH Under One Roof conference.

The 2018 award recipients will become the new members of the elite dental hygiene professionals group. They will be joining the other 117 awardees of the previous years.
